You will find elk within the boundaries of 8-10. The elk are spotty and move around a lot.

Oh, and one more thing. I'm lost my favorite hat in there this fall. It's the second one I've had and I've had this one for 5 years. If you find it there's an award - keep your eyes peeled for big bucks!

Everytime I lose my hat something big has, or is about to, hit the ground.

It's a good omen.:)

How about the time you lost your arrows?

Then your wallet?

All that hit the ground was the POS radios we couldn't get to work.

Just get out there brother. You'll run into them eventualy.
Put on the miles and you'll start getting a feel for different areas.
That's what I do and it seems to work well for me.
Besides..how do you know some guys are pullin' your chain by telling the Elk are in one spot or another.

I'm assuming you're talking about hunting, not one of the dude's nightly escapades.

You don't hunt 8-10 - quit foolin'. I can see all of it from my house and I ain't never seen anybody with a camfire in the middle of the road giving hunters the finger as they go by.

There's more wisdom in that statement than you might think Watson. I just started playing the Cabela's Big Game Hunter today and it's freakin awesome. Only problem is that my 5 year old daughter is way better than me on it . This might explain the lack of taxidermy on my walls. As for elk, since the fire I have literally seen tracks everywhere in the valley, except for westside. Go cut a track then focus on one area till you get it figured out.
