caught a really big tom lynx!!

had a good day trapping on sunday,

the first lynx box set i checked had a real nice big tom lynx in it !

it stuck its head straight in the box and the 330 did its job instantly snapping its kneck!

lynx normally dont go straight in the box sets ,they normally circle the set a few times!

but this one was straight in,no messing!

also snared a couple of yotes!

he was actually quite fat,

i was surprised he put his head in

when i gutted him he had a 1/2 inch thick layer of fat all over his organs!

i think he was a greedy bugger LOL

the evening before my wife and my mum saw a big tom lynx on there way home which was a big coincidence!although it was around 70km,s away,while my lynx was dead in my trap!the first 1 the wifes seen!!

gona get a throw made
would like a shoulder mount but it was a small lynx with some kneck damage!
hopefully the taxi can fix it for a shoulder mount!

Nice critter! Sharpest claws I have ever touched were on a Lynx. Sticky sharpe! Could shred the hell out of whatever they tangle with.
