think ill train my sweetie to run the 300. mag with some 220g, gonna try and borrow my buddies .375 for backup slugger which ill be packing! maybe a defender full of slugs too! ive talked to a few guides and they got some horror stories that put the fear in yer mind! gonna try and get another huntin bud too come as well.

lucky what guns are all you guys going to be using?

I'll be taking my 338/378 WBY loaded with 250 grain Swift A-Frames, and if my brother can go with me he'll be carrying my 45/70 Marlin with 540 grain Hammerhead ammo for backup.

well i was lucky enough to pull a tag for 7-18, Tank pulled for 7-17 so we're gonna have a busy spring. Tank will be using his 375H&H for his bear and I will be trying with my 73# Bowtech Extreme VFT pushing a 440grain arrow and 100 grain montec at 297FPS.... of course the 375 and a slug gun will be on hand for back-up!
