Pemberton Black Bear Hunting

Hi Guys i am new to big game hunting, since the season for Black Bear is starting soon (well in 3 months), i was thinking about going up to Pemberton or Whistler.

Here comes a dumb Question, Are there enough Blackies in Pemberton or Whistler?

I live in Langley BC and am willing to drive 4 hrs in either direction to get one if you would like to purpose any other areas.

Any other Tips/ Techniques and Comments are welcome.

There is no need to travel that far for blake bear.

There are black bears from Vancouver all the way to the end of the Sea to Sky highway and beyond:-D

Try the Coq. The one in my avatar was only an hour north of Hope, and theres plenty more where he came from.

No Black bears worth mentioning up in the Pemberton area.....

Gatehouse has killed them all with his spear!!

As soon as the snow is going and the greens are starting to shoot up ,thers lots up the mamquam ,in Squamish P line and back ,Then check out Ring Creek ,thats past the gulf course towards the univercity ,Make sure you are on the other side of the hydro lines once you are past the univercity .also in squamish.You should have no prob .Also the tree farm is quite good ,WAY TO MANY BEARS IN SQUAMISH
