We are thinking of driving up from the coast for the fishing derby at Mamit Lake this weekend.
However we were wondering about camping space ( not on the ice please) we have a truck camper and trailer with quad or maybe snowmobile.
Is there adequate parking to stay overnight on Sat and Sunday night.
How is the snow cover should we bring the quad or the sled?
I think it's going to rain in Merritt area on the weekend but perhaps the lake is high enough that it will be snow.
Any information greatly appreciated.

The lake has a few campsites if you get there early enough. I would imagine they will all be super full starting early sun a.m. They are really just pull outs on the side of the road but people do camp there. A quad should be fine but with this warm weather we are having , could be quite slushy on the ice?? Good luck and might see you there!

With this warm weather, the ice may be softening up. Make sure you carry your ice picks with you should you break through.
