Muley Mount..

Here is the mule deer mount I just picked a few hours ago I'm happy with the mount and thats all that counts :-D.

Like I said before these antlers where outside on a pole for 4 years they where completely white before I used potassium permanganate to bring back the natural look.

Not bad for the time it took him to do it ,I took the deer antlers in 4 weeks ago and picked them up today...

Kylebartels just posted up a thread on refinishing antlers look at his tread ,he used the same stuff I used ,his shed came out great...

the title on his thread is Faded Antlers & pics its in this section on page two as I speak.

I promised him I would not say anything it was part of the deal we made befor he took the job on ,but I will tell you all it was not done by any one that has a taxidermy business ,sorry...

Mark the deer was shot in 1965 near Hedley BC ,this is what it scored the date on the scoring certificate is when I had it scored.
