My day started off bright and early at 430am grabbed my gear and jumped in the truck. Ah! Truck won't start! Jump in the boat bang my knee and grab the Battery Jumper back in business. Arrived at the Field Marshal's at 6am off to the spot! What a beautiful morning!

Pretty slow morning we couldn't call any Geese in just a few high flyer's. A few ducks did come our way, I missed a couple of shots. Luckily Field Marshal and his buddy nailed some. I swear it was like they were attracted to something on the back of my hat. I was always looking the wrong way.
Then my luck changed out of no where a fine Pin tail showed up.

I'm told some hunters can go a whole season with out shooting one. I guess it was my Lucky day.

Just my second time out hunting ducks and geese I am officially hooked.
Thanks to Field Marshal for taking me out again!
What a great Day Still smiling!

Nicely done, I've yet to be able to connect with a bird of that caliber. Nice to see you're still getting out and connecting on some birds. Time is running out with just a little over two weeks of the duck season left.
