O.K. I might have made a mistake but!!!!!!!
I just bought a Remington Titanium, Yipeeeee.

It was used with a whopppping 40 rounds fired through it!!
I've had a few drinky poo's but I tought i would share it with you because things have been a little stagnant lately.

Its a .270 and should be a great hi-country rifle. The flip side is that I am working on a lightweght 30-06 so I have 2 packin rifles right now!!!!!

I am planning on one in 7mm-08 sometime in the future! Just spent the rifle fund on a Zeiss scope so its gonna be awhile yet!

I dont own one but I've always like the .270 caliber. Pretty good all around rifle. What bullet are you going to be pushing through it?

Brambles,

Doesn,t sound like a mistake to me!
The B&C stock may not be the finest tuperware on the planet, but hey, it wouldn't stop me from buying one! For the money, I don't think there is a better super light weight rifle on the market.

As the owner of well over 3 dozen Reminton 700's I can tell you that 99.5% of what you read about Remington is bogus. Yes, I have personally experienced a few minor glitches over time. I have also experienced problems with other makes ...So what, these are inexpensive production rifles. I have experienced a $5000.00 custom rifle refuse to go bang, a big dollar (I 'm not telling you how much) dangerous game rifle that would feed the top round on the ground beside me, and a $1500.00 .22 that absolutely refused to shoot.

The Remington and the 270 serve you well.

Enjoy and good luck!

The .270 is a very good all around medicine for most North American game animals. I have been a 7mm.mag fan for a long time but recently toy with the idea of getting another toy like the .270 or the 7mm-08. The later works well on deer and also makes a dang good coyote calibre.

The .270 has become very popular with hunters all over North America and me thinks it going to be a main stay like the true and proven 30-06. You made a good choice with that calibre.

well the first mistake you made is not buying my 25-284

joking aside, the 270 Ti will be a good rifle for you. I took the plunge in October and picked one up in 30-06, new, for $1390. Topped it with a Leupold VXII 3-9x40mm in Talley low lightweights. 6 lbs 3 oz all ready to go. Shoots under an inch with some handloads.

here's a pic of my Ti '06
