some pictures of an old tree stand that we found, literally a twenty minute walk from our front door. It turns out that an old friend had built it when he lived here and never got a chance to use it. Now with all the developement around town someone has built a house about 200 yards just behind the stand, go figure. But that doesnt mean that we cant hunt it with our bows.(the stand isn't on his land) We threw out some clover and some other feed stuff????,salt block, and put up the trail camera that i borroed from a friend. i had more pics and videos of a nice 5 spike bull in velvet, spiker moose, and three bears (no goldie locks hahaha:-D) But they some how got erased from the computer GRRRRRR.
There is avideo of a blacke in the colour faze (i think) may be a grizz??? video isnt that good. I cant seem to load the video though http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/thumbs/MDGC0052.JPG (http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/showphoto.php?photo=17446&limit=recent)

Love those trail cam pics. After seeing the trail cam pics on this site, I really want one. Just got to find a really good hiding spot. I am at least an hour away from anywhere worthwhile.

Sweet location!!
thanks, there is about six different game trail that lead to this spot, with a fence line road right behind it for quads, should be great this coming season will be putting the camera back out around may/june and giving the stand a little well needed TLC.:-D

That sounds perfect, is it a mineral lick or just heavily used?

it gets heavily used, there is cows in the adjasent fields that some times wonder over (got them on the camera) but for the most part it is game use. almost uncomfortable sitting there with a house right behind you though, home owner is never there, but we will make it work:wink:
