2 mile 4 mile rapids dease river

was wondering if anyone has been through them,can you do it in a zodiac.

Been through there about ten years ago, paddled from Dease Lake to Lower Post. Good trip! We went through in sea kayaks. Mine is a 20 foot Necky double.

I may have this mixed up but I believe 4 mile rapids was 4 miles from the Liard and 2 mile was last set.

4 mile was easy, stay river right and coast.

2 mile required full attention as the whole river funnels into a rocky channel about 50 feet wide. When I went through it was a full class 3. I'd say it's doable in a Zodiac, just cut real hard against the rock wall on river left.
