.. I smell like a human lol ... all the time --- want a bit of wisdom ?
.... it's your breathing and farting that they smell .. your breath in the air is stronger than your shirt smells-lol-think about it burps and breath --
you just had a pepperoni pizza last night. answer to that ?
...don't eat any meat for two weeks only vegetables almost impossible to do btw.
. then your breath and burps smell like a vegetarians instead of a meat eater to the prey.
If your really serious about hunting trophy mule deer -- otherwise don't hold your breath

Don't use any sent cover or anything like that. After the first night my hair smells of wood smoke.I keep my hunting clothes away from the campfire though.Other than that Just watch the wind. Maybe that's why I didn't fill my tag this year.LOL

I use diesel fumes as cover scent.

For some it is effective, same with scent products most hunts its all about wind direction first, swirling winds are a problems at times, Bowhunting for me at close range has had its share of busts but mainly by movement not scent. If you can hunt most of your game of choice in the rut your chances of connecting with a prize animal will be increased, try not to get to caught up in the extras. Use your common sense first and your wallet in your pocket saving up for your next adventure.

I use cover scent(s) like spray-on "natural dirt" smell. Plus I keep anal track of the wind. You gotta when you're doing the spot n' stalk thingy with a bow and arrow(s).

I use eliminators and cover scents mostly to limit on-ground smell I leave when travelling to my stand or set-up area.

If you really want to see some one's face turn real red get them to put on their fancy charcoal clothes and use some of that spray and walk into the woods 100 yards and hide. Then ask your dog to go find them. The dog will run flat out right to them over their trail. You will have to run real quick to get there in time to see the stupid bewildered look on their face as they start to look for expiary dates on the spray bottle. .

I use cover scents more so for bow hunting but they have been effective for rifle.use hunter's specialties cent-A-Way "green soap" and spray.Big factor is the wind.

Its all about the "buck Bomb" Mate, all about the buck bomb!

one of those, and the poor critters nostrils are blown for days - who needs or cares about the wind then?

Wind is the key. Once I'm hunting I don't worry about enhancing my scentless odor. If I do anything I stand in front of a smokey fire. Early season I go through more shirts, gaunch and socks.

I don't use any, rely strictly on wind, but I want to get into bow hunting this year and have thought about using them just because you would usually be a lot closer.

I use cow patties for cover scent just like dogs do.....well I dont roll in it just on the boots and watch the wind.

I'm smart enough not to hunt with the wind, no need for cover up scents.

I like to roll in some sage bush or put my hunting stuff in as bag with some cedar or pine branches to hide some of my scent but mostly hunt with the wind in my face real quiet like

Have a smoke now and then - sure it doesn't cover up any human scent, but it is a very accurate wind indicator.
