day hunt around Merrit

Goin to head up around merrit tomorrow for some predators. Just got a new scope for my 223 with a BDC turret and would like to find some open areas to call from. It should be a nice day and I would love to shoot something with my new setup. Any tips on where to start would be great. I'll do the google earth thing tonight but this was a last minute trip planned for tomorrow.

Some nice open areas both on the north side (Pothole creek) and the south side (Kentucky lake) areas of the connector!! Last time back in there I saw one of the biggest black wolves I've ever seen. He split before I could get the door open!! Seen quite a few wolves in there. And seeing it's reg 3 they're open.

Thanks Steeleco. Kentucky lake area looks good from Google earth. that whole stretch of highway looks good. Quite a few roads around there.
