:-D During the late archery WT season in rock Creek I saw a nice 4 pt Buck on four occasions . Twice he was just out of range and twice at twelve yards from my treestand . Twice he racked a tree at twelve yards and put on quite a performance .
:confused: The branches were a bit too high for him but the rut urge made him stretch upwards as much as possible in order to rake and rub his orbital glands . First he would build his scrape with the raking motion of his front
right hoof , then switch over to his front left hoof , on and on . When finished on both occasions he walked off with his head up high looking for does .
:confused: One slight problem when he stretched upwards he raking hoof was 4 in above the snow covered ground. In spite of two visits and two scrapeing sessions there was not a mark in the snow .
:wink: May-be I should have removed him from the gene pool ......
