The Mathews are nice bows but they are quite pricy!

You will have to change your name as there is no hoyt in the poll.
I was able to get a a/max 32 for 800. no tax . look around . mine was only 6 weeks old .

A good quality bow that feels and shoots the best for you!! Not what someone else likes.

Im gonna end up buying what feels right for me in the end.. Still nice to know other peoples opinions on bows.. Now to sell some stuff off from my RC hobby to fund the bow!

Unfortunatly, asking other peoples opinion is a loaded question when it comes to items like what brand of truck they drive, what kind of beer they drink and what bow they shoot. You've got it right. Like others have already said, try as many as you can and buy the one that feels the best in your hand.

I got a Browning Verado (PSE) 70# w/ quiver and about 25 arrows. Its the '09 model, I used it for 3 deer this season, half a dozen grouse. Nothing wrong with it what so ever. Id be willing to part with it if you want to save a few bucks. I m planning on a new Mathews for '10 season.

For best-bang-for-your-buck I'd have to say either the Fred Bear bows or the subsidiary of Bowtech - Diamond bows. Can't go wrong with either choice.

You'll soon get used to the feel and the way it performs.....

The Bowmadness are sweet bows....
Browning bows are made by PSE
If you want the best forget Matthews and get an APA...!

If the list above is written in stone .... I would go with the Bowtech .... Followed by the Bowmadness ...

However ... I personally would not look at any of the above bows ...if I were on a budget of that bracket ... I would look at Diamonds, Martins, Possibly Reflex, and Alpines fall into that pay grade as well

cant help as i would not choose any of those, or maybe just the bowtech, i always seem to like the martins and hoyt's.

Just buy whatever fits you best!

The PSE range is great - I shoot PSE, so like everyone else here I'm biased.
