Jr.'s Dec. 27 Goose hunt

Well we knew the geese weren't plentiful in our spot today, so dad let me do the shooting. There was soooo much fog!! Couldn't see the geese until they were at about 30 yards.

First flock comes right into the deeks at 20 yards. I jump up... BOOM, splat... BOOM, splat... "click" :-? :-?. OMG, I didn't have 3 shells in the gun!!! Real brilliant. Still got a double! :mrgreen:

Later a single flew in and I got that. So thats my day!! 3 chunky geese and another fun day out.

Good going, nice to see some geese hitting the ground. It's been a hard couple of days trying to get the geese to come in with all the fog.
