My dad had the day off from work so, me, my dad and brother decided to go try and catch a few of them delicious landlock salmon ;)

Had a good time. It started off slow but ended good. We kept 12 and threw a few small ones back. All in all it was awesome day out! Tomorrow me, my grandpa and brother are going to go out again so my grandpa will have some to take back to victoria.

Going to have to take the day off and try and call some coyotes so we get a chance to eat some :)

We were out there at the same time Kyle was. We took home 5 beauties. One was 16 inches. So far this winter I've taken 3 that hit the 16 inch mark.

And I thought Ten Mile was only good for fat, muddy rainbows!!

If your catching 16"ers now, there must be some beauties just before the August spawn.
Do you ever target them on open water?

They're triploids.....won't spawn.

Nice Kokes in 10 mile .... its easy to see where everyone catches them by the crowd in the middle.

You bet! Its a bit harder though. We hook lots but with their soft mouths we lose a lot soon as they wiggle by the boat. Catch way more rainbows.

Went out today, got my limit of 15 ( 8 to 12" range") presently in a brine, will start smoking them Wed. Morning.....

But gonna head back to the same lake tomorrow to get another part batch (takes about 25 or 30 of the little ones to fill my smoker)

I targeted the Kokes last summer. Awesome fishing. We had 38 up to the boat and lost a pile more. Same thing the next day.
Rumor had it that Kyle's group caught an 18" yesterday.

Yeah I seen him, he was probably only 30 yards away from us. He drove by us a couple times and that argo is very loud haha
