My passion is hunting ducks and geese with retrievers. I'm getting seriously hooked on Bear hunting as it's fairly new to me and there is tonnes of them on the Island.

For me its gotta be the Blacktails..with the bow..hard species to hunt and be consistant ..(not the island ones)..lol
then elk
then bear....what a rush when you are bear hunting with the bow and he comes right up to where your sitting!

Ruffies/Moose in that order. Deer are good but nothing beats a bull moose heading your way through thick BC backwoods brush. OH MY GOD THAT SOUNDS LIKE A TRAIN! :D

For me, the answer is more than 'what', but 'how'. My favourite hunting of all is (cross)bow hunting whitetails from a ground setup (I have a comfy folding chair I sit down in, hopefully with a little natural cover, and then I just get real still till my critter comes along). There's just nothing like the challenge/rush of hunting a critter inside of 20 yards under those kind of circumstances.

Second is probably stalking mulies with my rifle. They're pretty fun, since I can crawl around their domain, and as long as I go slow and keep quiet and don't try to get too close to em, I get to see a lot of critters while I'm looking for Mr Big. Seeing the critters is almost as much fun as shooting them, to me.

Elk, I dunno; I'm not sure if I love or hate hunting them. Takes so much effort and patience, for usually so little reward (I've lost count of the days I've spent in the bush looking for elk and seen nothin but squirrels), that I'd rather hunt deer any day. But, I love to eat them though, elk is my favourite, so I keep at em whenever their season is open. :)

Blacktails w crossbow or shotgun as I like to see just how close I can get and I can get real close sometimes (and get busted lots of times). Then Mulies with my rifle (but would really really like to get one with the bow. Then Moose, which I have only ever had one chance at and damb near peed my panties when I saw how big his antlers were.

A day in the bush is better than a day at work as for game mulies, whitetails, moose.

Well I'm hooked on the mountain hunting - Sheep, Goat, and Caribou - for now at least. I really like grizz hunting as well. The excitement and adrenaline rush is hard to beat.

I would have to say moose for big game and as for birds thats a no brainer...ducks and geese over deeks. love the fast paced action.

Hard to say, I like to hunt many different game species, but if I would have only one choice it would be bow hunting whitetails.
