Hows it going everyone, I am new here my name is Seth. I am a resident of Omaha Nebraska in the Usa. I am addicted to hunting and fishing I archery hunt and waterfowl hunt mostly. I compete in calling contest for duck and turkey in the off season to keep me busy. I have not had the pleasure to visit Bc and partake in a hunt nor have I had the opportunity to hunt really cool stuff like you guys.Moose, elk, sheep, bear as we have none of these species in Ne or odds of drawing a tag a close to non existant. I mainly bowhunt whitetail deer and turkey the occasional hog and lots of bowfishing. We do have good waterfowling in Ne but not like canada except decoying snows in the spring we do pretty good on them. we kill our fair share but Canada is phenominal waterfowl hunting compared to Ne at least it was when I was in Sask, I look forward to learning from you guys and hopeful can be of some help to the forum.

Thanks for the warm welcome all.

We do have decent deer hunting I will get some ne stories and pics up soon, We do have Merriam turkeys so I guess that kinda neat my wife doubled on some jakes this past spring it was her first turkey hunt so she had a blast. I should have taken her earlier in the year to get her a nice tom but getting us both out at the same time is tough, we own and operate a childcare center here in Ne and it keeps us busy add a 2yr old to the mix and three labs yellow, chocolate and black and it get even tougher, lol

We do have cabelas trust me you don't want one it is worse than a casino lol. We get a cabelas then all of a sudden you start aquiring thing you thought you needed and find out later you don't lol.

Oh Nebraska doen't have a hog population we have to travel to Oklahoma or texas to shoot them and do so every year they are great to put on a roaster if you shoot one under 150lbs.

Welcome Seth! There isn't a ton of places to hunt turkeys here in BC but I have a spot our group goes to every year and we are usually able to bag a couple birds. I shot a decent Tom last year and my Uncle shot a monster. Looking forward to seeing some of your Whitetail & Turkey stories with pics. Maybe you can teach me a thing or 2 about Turkey hunting as I'm still learning! It's very addicting.
