Good News.....bad news!
The operation starts right on time and it is a serious one, which will be life altering for the avid mountain hunter.
Several hours after the operation the patient awakens in a dimly lit room. He's a little groggy when the operating surgeon comes into the room to check on his progress. The surgeon is wearing a long white coat and a big smile. He says to the somewhat depressed hunter," I have good news, and I have bad news. Which would you like to hear first?"
Well says the hunter, " May as well hear the bad news first."
The Doctor, clearing his throat, and averting his eyes, says, "...Well , we...ahh ... amputated the wrong leg."....... And then brightening up, smiles and says " But the good news is that the other leg is doing much better and should be ok!"
