I hunted there for years,around Rolla and Pouce Coupe.Took some monster bucks,I miss it a lot.We have some nice ones here but they are a different sub species and never get as big as those bad boys.

there is a lot of really good hunting especailly whitetails on crown land once you get to know where to go.

finding crown land to hunt in the peace isn't that difficult really but it does take some investment in time, but not like other areas in the province. the difference is the terrain and hunting methods. if you are serious about hunting big whitetails in the peace be prepared to invest some time and money into finding the hot spots like the local guys do and you will have a place to hunt for years to come. we are not over crowded with serious deer hunters. lots of road hunters but not many serious whitetal hunters.

for sure saskatchewan is the mecca of whitetail hunting in canada. while we have big whitetails in the peace we don't have the densities you guys do. however, we have only had signigicant whitetail populations in the peace for less than 20 years so maybe someday?

My sons, my brother-in-law, and I hunted the Peace Region for a total of 28 days. This is the best we could come up with this year...

The brother -in -law got them both. My sons and I did pass up some good whitetails, but just couldn't find the mulies...

Bridger...talk to some of the neighbors and they said you killed a few bottles this fall. They failed to tell me you got some nice deer. Did you ever get that Grizzly?

didn't get the grizz and it was the neighbors that killed most of the bottles talk about party animals?

That I do believe. You do not pick your neighbors very well.
