My contributions this year: 1 white tail tag, 1 mulie tag and a bear tag for good measure. The uncut mulie tag(5th year in a row) really leaves a shi**y after-taste. :mrgreen:

It's an expensive soup this year. 1 moose tag - didn't even see a bull in 6-9 during my LEH. Saw lots of bulls in region 3 and 8, but couldn't connect on any spikes or forks. 1 elk tag - only hunted one day. 1 bear tag - had some great stalks, but never pulled the trigger. 1 goat tag - spotted a really nice billy, but after hiking 3 hours uphill never did see him again. Definitely an animal I will hunt again in the future. Fortunately deer aren't too hard to come by in my part of the world.

bought 3 mule deer tags and filed 2 of them, so cant complain much. Passed up a couple of nice mule deer in reg 3 looking for the hog, but he will still be there next year, and BIGGER!!

I can add the following to the "soup".

1 moose tag (brother shot 1 when i was with), a mule deer tag (never saw anything big enough) 1 elk tag, (only called in 5x5's) and 1 goat tag (took a 500 yard shot and missed)

Did cancel my blk bear and whitetail tag though. Tough season, i've had much better and much worse.

All my tags are soup this year...whitetails, mulie and elk...LOL.. first time in 20 years that I have ever been SOL...oh well, always next year

1 Oct LEH bull moose tag, 1 LEH mountain goat tag, 1 mule deer tag and 1 black bear tag all go in the pot. Still have an elk tag, cougar tag and lynx tag with seasons still ongoing. I think I'll be boiling up my soup April 1. ;)

The only tag I cut (so far) this year is a cougar tag. Still one of my best years ever. :)

I could make a few different batches of soup with all my tags. Your season definatly isnt measured on by what ya shot, probs the best hunting season ever this year. Got a beautiful Dall Sheep that was worth it right there, helped put down a nice mountain grizzly and watched 2 stone rams of a lifetime walk away. For British Columbia here are my uncut tags.

Had a shot at a blackbear in the spring but he turned left, pointing down a steep mountainside where retrieval would have been a b**ch. Still regret not taking that one. So my count is: 1 whitetail, 1 mulie, 1 blackbear

All soup for me... Moose, Elk, Mule deer and Whitetail. And to think I had LEH for both Moose and Elk!

It was a weird season to say the least and since I dislocated my knee in September and could barely walk while hunting moose, it's no big surprise...

Sheep tag - couldnt find a legal sheep
bear tag - so I could legally chase bears
cougar tag - so I could legally chase cats
moose tag - never stumbled on a legal one (didnt really look)
mulie tag - never found the big one I wanted, just 2 dozen of his sons :lol:

I donate money to the MOE by buying a full suite of tags every year... clipped a moose tag this year! I still have some hope of clipping the cougar tag but the rest are ready for the pot!

It will make crappy soup, but hey, it only soup.

But who really cares, I was out hunting and having fun doing something I really enjoy.
