Anyone out there know where there is a healthy population of snowshoe hare around Vernon, I would like to try a different area from Nicklen Lake. Went up King Eddy today and there was hardly any sign. I have lived here for 6 years but havent really gone out for hare much except for Nicklen. I would appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

I spent a lot of November and December Hunting 8-12 and there were tons of signs off of Highway 33 around Carmi, Just before Beaverdell. I was on Rupert Main, Wilconsin (little bit close to Carmi), Carmi Creek, and Eugene. Only saw a few live ones running around early morning but there are tracks everywhere. Compareable to the white tail population up there!

Thanks guys I appreciate it, I am trying to find spots I can get to with my son all winter long and thanks to the downturn in logging there sure arent many logging roads that are plowed during the winter months.
