...but warming up fast! Only -19 today, supposed to be zero by the weekend. I'm heading to Fort Nelson tomorrow, can give you a report from North of here when I get back if you want.

sum it up like this,,, different ares, different amounts of snow depth,

if side roads, logging roads haven't been plowed by the MOT(highways dept) or logging or oil and gas industry contractors , you likely wont be driving a pick up truck on those roads, so there are many limits as to where you may find access, as for rural roads your OK , as they are plowed if residences are on that route,,,

Don't all elk shot during the LEH season need to be on private property only? Your best bet for finding them is to get a list of land owners. I know Corlane Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek has one for this area.

yes its a private land hunt we have list of land owners and talked to a few other people up there too..ws just wonderin if people were seein elk in private property or is that not allowed?!:roll::???:

I stopped a few times otw to Ft Nelson and back to check the snow depth (AKA water the flowers) :mrgreen: It's not that deep anywhere, max 24", and has been pretty mild temperature-wise for over a week now.
