G' Day Lads,
Well I am just on my way home after my first hunt in Canada.
I spent 7 days chasing Mountian Lions with Doug Mc Mann (Chilcotin Hillbilly) from Skinner Creek Guest Ranch out by Tatlayoko Lake, west of Williams Lake.
What a great hunt, we hunted hard and on the sixth day we managed to tree this guy.

Doug figured him to be a big 3 year old and around 150# to 160#, so I decided to take him.
My first shot was quartering away and looked to be right on the money, the Tom did not seem to bothered and turned and faced me so I sent an insurance shot through the middle of his chest. This sent him out of the tree and he was down in around 70 yards or so.

Doug runs a great hunt and his dogs (Rudy & Burger) were incredible to watch as they worked the tracks for scent. The scenery in this part of BC is really something else and all in all I could not have asked for a better experience.
Cheers Noel
