So I wanted to do something special with my 6X6 Elk rack to I dipped the skull in a Stone pattern using water transfer imaging from Cobra Imaging. Could have done it in camouflage, wood or something else but I decided on the stone/marble look. What do you think?

Very cool look, looks very "weathered".I mount a lot of bone for people,so always looking for new ideas.Is that a gloss or semi-gloss spray on the antlers?..Or just the flash? I know some guys like the natural look on the antlers,even leaving the stinky old moss and pine tar.Great look.

That looks really good. Did you mount it to the plaque yourself? If so how did you do it? I ask because I have a set of moose antler I want to mount myself.

I mounted it myself Screwing through the base of the skull so you can not see the screws. I wanted to make sure the rack was secure as it is heavy.

Agreed a full euro mount would have looked great. Next time for sure. Maybe I will have it done in Camo

Have to see it in person. I usually think that a little bit of skull looks kinda cheapish. However since you have done something with in, and not just left it bone it may look interesting. I think a full euro in that stuff would have looked pretty cool.
