Anyone here try out the 3" mirage shotshells on waterfowl? I had three ducks drop feathers and down at about 20 -25 yards and then keep on flying for the international border. Pissed me off cause they were good sized greenheads.

Where are the birds crossing at? I'll see if I can whack them for you!
Seriously, it is a bummer to hit a duck hard, watch the feathers fly and still end up empty handed.
try kents. I haven't had any problems with them

I tried them about 8 or 9 years ago, but the empty hulls kept jamming the gun.I shoot a Browning BPS. Didn't use them enough to say they where good or bad, just that they seemed to work.
I also have been having problems with these shell. 20% of the time the firing pin will be puched and no bang. It sucks:evil:

I have had no problems firing or ejecting and am pretty new to duck hunting(well, hitting them anyways) and most other times it feathers fell the duck usually beat it to the ground or water. I like how they do not rust from water getting on the metal part of the hull.
