Anyone own one of these?? Are they a good bang for the buck???

Looking at getting a better e-caller but can't justify spending over $500 on one of the better Foxpro units.

Sure. Just be sure to bring that fishing legend with you. Tell him the bears are all denned-up so he won't have to worry:wink:.

Don't worry I'll collect the cans for him. At the coast they call me "Gloves". A legend in Langley.

Remember...I'm a born-again road warrior. I picked up 4 pickup loads of Bud can in 2 days of hunting.

I'd just buck up and get the FX5. You'll likely never have to replace it.
Flip a few prime wolf pelts after the fact to pay for it ?

Reading this reminds me I should probably use the one I got when they were $650... Looks nice on the book shelf

If we had a wolf season around here I might consider it.....or course that would mean getting a sled and a new rifle(my only caliber isn't "fur-friendly":???:).
For now I'll stick to thinning out some local winter range yotes and maybe the occassional pussy cat(if I'm lucky).

Don't worry about "fur friendly", its just a few more stitiches to sew up a huge hole versus a small one...

Foxpro makes high quality stuff, I havent seen a Spitfire but can assume it would be a good unit for the $. Looks like a good investment. Ive had a fx3 and currently a Fx5 and they're both great, fx5 has a wicked remote!

Here's the goods.....only $200 US.....less calls..... remote range is not as good........ sound quality is good from the "few" reviews that I've read so far.

Could easilly pay it off if I got serious:-|.

You just wait. Getting married........ 1/2 dozen kids after that......soon followed by selling all of your hunting gear.:-?

Maybe I'll just wait for your Foxpro to hit the buy&sell forum:tongue:.

So I looked on the site mentioned on this thread for the Spitfire for $200 and they mentioned something about a TX-24, is that something that comes with the Spitfire or is that an extra .
And does anybody have experience with this Particular unit.
Thanks

Put it on the payment plan like the Swaro spotting scope:-D I am thinking of using it too for a swaro.
