Ill start by mentioning that mt wife Georgia has done a ton of hunting this year, nearly every weekend since our 10 day elk hunt in the peace!
Shes been on some very long and brutal hikes from dawn to dusk, she passed on a 150 class mulie and several small whities.
I did find her a 180 class typical mulie, that stood broadside, skylined at 165 yards, too far for an offhand shot. By the time she got a clear shot and a rest, the buck slipped away 1 second shy of the shot :cry:.
Frustrating for me as the buck could of died 10 times, but I respect her decision to take a good rest!
With time ticking in the bow season, she also passed on some spikers, now down to the afternoon of her last day off work, Meathead offers her his tree stand :-D.
First time in a tree stand for her, -12 outside to boot. lucky she didnt have to wait too long for this guy to show up!

&
She made a great shot, only hit 1 lung and the deer took off, again light was fading and we couldnt see any sign off the buck, buck the blood soaked bolt told me he wouldnt be too far.
The blood trail ended after only 30 yards, nothing not a drop.
I was confident he was dead, we started random searching, georgia had our 9 month old chessie on the leash, she said he suddenly started pulling really hard downhill.....there he is she yells just as moral was getting very low! And hes bigger than her last year archery 3 point!
