A friend of mine was out hunting in the Harrison area today and found a wallet.

Send me a PM if it's yours, and I will put you in contact with my friend who found it.

Thanks,

James

There is ID in the wallet - along with debit/credit cards, etc. I don't want to post the owner's name on the internet. That information can be discussed via Private Message.

So I am guessing you can't just call the guy who's ID that you have ?

If you drop it off with the police they'll get in touch with them quickly.

I guess I should have clarified that in my original post. Yes, we tried to call him.

He might be hunting or looking for his wallet. I second giving it to the police. Sure is something I'm worried about loosing.

The owner of the wallet was contacted last night and will be meeting up with my friend today to claim his property.

Good on you James, I've never lost a wallet (touch wood) but I can imagine what it must feel like.

James, did you mark zipperlip spot for future hunting trips?
Then again you already know where that spot is.
Glad to hear it worked out for all parties involved.

My brother in law left his wallet in the subway in lilloet and the owner thinking he would come back for it held on to it for 3 days. In that time he had already spent money on new tags, id etc. After 3 days the owner turned it in to the police and they immediately contacted him.
