Driving truck through the Pine Pass Nov. 19 I noticed there was lots of snow...i didnt notice how much snow until i started seeing moose...or what i could see of them. already the snow was about midway up there bodies. I hope this isnt going to get worse, as the populations up there seem to be rather low, compared to a few years ago :S

the pine pass always gets huge amounts of snow does it not? The moose move down as winter progresses I thought

usually this time of year there doesnt seem to be this much snow. I wasnt up all that high...more in the flats where they seem to be year round. Still lots of winter left, i am just hoping its not a sign of whats to come for snowfall, as i imagine if they get above normal so will most other places around it :S

I wouldn't think too many moose winter in the pass. Way to much snow there.
