So I Arrived In My Spot At First Light, unloaded My Gear And The Sled And Headed Up The Trail, saw Some Fairly Old Lynx Tracks Thought About Calling, But Decided The Tracks Were Too Old,traveled On Another Few Miles And Found Some Fresher Tracks, Drove On About Half A K And Stopped, got My Call And Decoy And Walked Back To Were The Tracks Were,i Set Up The Call And Decoy, Tested My Caller For A Second And Then Turned The Vollume Off, While I Got My Self Nice And Cozy, about 30 Yards Away. Instantly The Lynx Rushed Out Before I Even Got A Chance To Turn The Caller Back On, It Stood About 100 Yards Away, Bang Flop, hunt Over In Less Than A Minute The Caller Was Going For Litteraly 1 Scream Before I Turned It Off To Sit Down And Call, Who Said Cats Take A Long Time To Come In.it Was A Very Exciting But Short Hunt.

can I recommend to the admins to change the pic posting instructions to www.pinypic.com (http://www.pinypic.com)? It makes everything so easy. Just make sure you use the size drop down box and select message boards/forums.

Does that also mean no tag required?and possibly no bag limit?
If so,then we look forward to more pictures.
I would personally like to follow the details of your trapping history for the year.
Really enjoyed Proguides66 last year.

there are royalties to pay on furbearers, when running a trap line its in the back of the hunting regs, bag limits are impossible on a trapline, as you have no control on how many critters go into your traps at one time!
trappers self empose there own quotas, its in there own interest not to over harvest any furbearer.
you only need a hunting tag when hunting away from your trapping area!!

7mm.08
there was quite a hole.but it can be fixed up.
its tough calling in bc as you never know whats coming in.
couger,wolf,yote,bobcat.
so taking the ideal rifle for every critter is a lot to carry but im thinking of taking my .22 with velocitors for my next small cat

ROEBUCK
12-02-2009, 08:30 AM
an ideal situation would be a guy with a 7mm.08 just for wolf, couger and another guy with a rimfire or very small centrefire for yotes, bobcat, lynx

i was getting 1" groups at the range in the summer at 100 yards with velocitors very accurate bullets and at 1450ftps they pack quite a punch, good for fox, lynx, bobcat, and a coyote.gona hunt with them 2mrow!!
