If it is 213 on the hook, gutted, hide off, then that is a big mulie. Good show! My biggest was 205 meat hanging on the hook.

Jellyman,
Maybe take heed to your own request. People might just call you on your BS given you've only ever posted up one pic of your Louis Creek Louey from years gone by. What ever happened to the pics of the buck killed by the train? I hear that train a coming, it's a crazy train running off the tracks. It goes by the name of Jelvis and it's about time it retires. Rocky needs to hang up the gloves. ;)

If you call dragging up 3 to 4 year old threads every month entertaining?

Hey guys, sorry for the late response, here are some pics. No, I don't have a pic of meat on the scale for jelvis. but truth is, I would have been just as proud if it did only weigh 175 (that was my guess before weighed). After reading responses sounds like other people have got mule deer over 200. I have always considered myself a meat hunter. Me and my family eat only wild game ,and fish we caught. To me the trophy is having a freezer full of meat.( cant eat the antlers). But I did turn down smaller legal 4pt that day only because I didn't feel comfortable shooting 400+ yards. I was just cursing myself for not taking the shot, and doing the walk of shame back to the truck, when I seen him. My first thought "there's an elk" then I realized I was looking at the biggest deer I've ever seen. I found a tree to rest on and my best guess on range, after looking at him through scope, he's only 250-300 yards. Aimed level on top of back "bang" and seen snow kick up under him. I quickly reloaded and made next shot about 3 feet above back, and got him in the back. when I walked up to him I understood how I miss judged the range so much, as he was twice the size of the black tail deer I usually shoot. A range finder is on my christmas wish list. the pic on my avtar is the one. will have to get the wife to show me how to put bigger pic on, URL?
