Well saterday was a good day for my buddy and I.

Its started out by Chris calling me up and saying lets go for a drive. The wife went to pg shopping. So we loaded up his two kids and went for a drive. We headed up to an area that i have been pounding around on foot. Seeing lots of does but no bucks. Well i think the kids were good luck. Here bedded down 150 yards off the road is this guy. It wasnt what i was looking for but Chris was more than happy to tag this guy. Two shots and he was down for the count.

I tried to spruce up this storey as much as i could but hey, its road hunting. 30 seconds of fun and the rest work. Ahhh it was good. a day the kids will definetly remember.

Hunting with friends is great, Hunting with your kids is even greater! The kids smile says it all, congrats.

nice lookin buck, good width on him!

how wide is he? i'm gonna guess 26-27inches?

Nice Mulie!. Congrats to your buddy Trigger. Polished up real nice and no eye guards either..I noticed the BLR. Nice rifle..:) Hard to tell whos happier!..

That is a very nice buck indeed, and if that didn't cut it for yourself then I would love to see the buck you DO take. Good job guys, I'm sure the little guy will not forget tht and will aspire to do the same himself one day.

wow nice buck..trigger thanks for posting the story for your friend he should join HBC!! with shooting bucks like that.

Your close but its only 25 1/2 " wide. A nice buck for sure. I have shot similar size deer and well i just dont have enough room on the walls. I will have to make room for a toad of a buck if i get one. In the mean time I'm happy to leand a hand in getting trophies for my friends
