I want to get out this Saturday for one last hunt with my son to try for a few grouse (Maybe a buck if one presents itself) but will be mainly trying for grouse.
My usual spot for grouse is at the top of the coquihalla in 3-13, but thats pretty well snowed in now, so I am thinking of going a little closer to Merritt and lower ? but dont really want to go past Merritt, would prefer just this side as it will only be a day trip .
A little snow is fine, I have 4x4, but dont want to be treking around in deep snow and end up getting stuck .
How about around the Comstock exit ? any good grouse roads around there ?
I was also thinking around Boston Bar, but I dont know the area as well as the Coquihalla corridor .
