Well I'm kinda tubby so the story is short or I would be dead! The chase lasted 3 hours and that was mostly due to my lack of conditioning. We were in the Pass (Crows Nest) and the terain was steep in short. We caught up to this bad boy and after deciding he was a good Tom I made the shot. It was to much to get him out of the ravine whole so I will never know the weight I can say that he made 2 170 lb Toms look small if that is in fact what they weighed. He Scores 15&1 and is confirmed for the book. It was an awsome hunt I remember sitting down taking some Asprin and Water and asking the good Lord to give me the ability to get up out of the box and slap the first person that said I died doing what I loved

The work was by Sugar Creek Taxidermy you can google it I don't know the link, I am very pleased he will be doing my Son's 2009 Bison and also my sons 80+ inch Antelope so I guess I must be happy.

It is going in my basement so I can watch wild TV and stare at him in the evenings.

Oh man that is SO nice! I really really want a cat! As much as I'd love to I don't think I could afford to get one mounted like that ... the wife would take at least half of everything and at least one of my testicles!

Its just a flush wall mount in the pictures it is on a stand. At home just two hangers for it.

As for the hounds they are a friends Plotts we used 3 for the hunt.

Thanks for the feed back, I don't want to sound boastful but I have seen so many brutal cats that, well I can't explain the relief when I saw it actually it was beyond relief I could not even speak I felt like I was watching him in the tree all over again. I am proud of the mount and beyond happy with the product for the dollar!

Thanks everyone for reafirming my satisfaction

Congrats on a nice cat and mount.
I think the price was very reasonable considering I have seen work in the same range that would leave me in tears Marco puts his heart soul and countless hours into his work.

Thanks I think that when you take an animals life you need to honor that animal if that means caring well for the meat from a spike buck or mounting a monarch they deserve respect and care.

I know what you mean. I've seen lots of bad cat mounts (and some good ones). That to me would rate as a really good one.
