I am looking into trial cam's and don't want to waste my money on some thing that is crap but don't want to spend a lot(due to thieves).

What features would you say are a must?

What cam's have treated you well?

anything with ir will work
i spend around 200-300
make sure you get the same card as your digital camera then you can just put it in you camera
you dont have to bring game camera back to down load to computer

I bought one of the HCO Scoutguard cams off here and am very happy with it. They are $230 CAN delivered. The only other cam out there that I think gives the same kind of bang for your buck is the Bushnell Trophy mentioned above. I also second that you don't need a viewer, just use your camera.

Most important function to look for is the trigger time - about one second on the Scoutguard and Trophy - I have a cheap Bushnell I bought for $100 at crappy tire and the trigger time is 8 SECONDS!! Way too long

Get ready for a new addiction...
