Baked Moose Steak
Not really a recipe. De-thaw in fridge for 24 hours then marinate in your favorite sauce for 24 hours. We make our own secret family recipe BBQ sauce so I used that! Sear on each side for 3 minutes on a skillet. Then bake in oven for 10 minutes. Medium Rare!

Maple Carrots
Ingredients
2 Large Carrots
Taste Salt
1 Spoon Canadian Maple Syrup
1 Spoon Butter
Directions
1. Slice the carrots and place in saucepan.
2. Cover with water add salt.
3. Bring to a boil. Then Simmer.
4. Drain carrots.
5. Add syrup and butter. Stir around. Serve!

Roast Potatoes
Ingredients
10 Small Nugget Potatoes Cut in 4’s
4 Cloves Garlic
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Water
Taste Seasoning
2 Spoons Lemon Juice
Taste Pepper
1 Cube Bouillon
Directions
1. Put all the ingredients pan.
2. Season generously with cube/salt/pepper/greek seasoning.
3. Mix/toss everything so its covered. Marinate 1+ hours.
4. Bake for 1 hour.

If we're getting picky about someone else's meal here - I'd have gone with a butter/dill sauce for the carrots and a really nice Shiraz instead of the Pil.

Although I do enjoy the 'extra' flavor attributes of a Pilsner over a slightly lacking lager.

On an altogether different note....

If you "de-thaw" a steak (or whatever) in the fridge, isn't that the opposite of thawing it? Wouldn't you be re-freezing it?

Ewww.. Gross.. Pilsner

I quite like Pilsner. Mostly cause of the price. Tho Moosehead is my favorite right now.
