Hi i am a new member to this site,i finally got my first deer the other day, a 5x5 whitetail. My wife got her whitetail doe draw so we decided to go to the area and find a doe.We were planning on staying for two days,but did not even see a thing so we decided to stay one more day.On the last morning we decided to do a morning hunt and head back home to the lowermainland.We were driving to a area we had seen lots of tracks the day before when we noticed the gas light turn on.I was going to turn around to head back,but decided to go a little further,then i spotted a deer up on a hill. I confirmed it as a whitetail buck.I got out of the jeep found him in my scope just as he turned to run and shot.I knew i hit him so i went looking for him.I heard branches breaking so i went towords that sound and came to a small opening when all of a sudden i see him running straight away from me i shot him in the back of the neck and he went down.After three years of trying for a deer i finally got one,it sure feels good.

Thanks guys. I will try to get my wife to help me with the pics when she gets home from work tonite as she is better with computers than me.

Really! A 5x5 whitey is nothing to sneeze at. Lots of hunters will go their entire lives and not get one like that.
