Well been out hunting hard the last couple weeks, looking for my biggest buck to date. Seeing lots of deer and probably passing 75+ bucks to this point (including this guy).
Got a new job the other day, and figured I probably wouldn't get out muley hunting again for the rest of the season, so I decided I was gonna try harvet the next decent buck I came across. 15 minutes into my hunt yesterday morning, saw this guy with some does. He stood around long enough for me to check him out and figured I'd pull the trigger on this one!
Pretty sure I've seen this buck a couple weeks ago, and let him walk. Since then he's broken off 3 of his top 8 points and had been really roughed up in a few fights it looks like.
I'd like to thank Benelli Fanboy, who is new to big game hunting in BC and a new member to this site! He's been coming out with me just about everday and was a big help in packing this guy out of the woods with me. He's had some close calls, and is due to connect on his buck real soon!
