I have a Nov. LEH tag for any bull in 3-32 and am wondering if it is worth sitting and calling or pound through the bush look'in for old bullwinkle? What would some of you more seasoned veterans be doing.

PS if calling what would you call, cow or bull?
Thanks in advance.

I'd be looking for fresh tracks.

I have called small bulls in the late season, maybe because they are young and dumb and full of

find some thick junk with feed. After the rut the bulls generally hold up in the ugly stuff and try to gain back some weight.

As Gus said, find good cover with feed close by, the bulls normally try to pack on a few pounds after the rut and before real winter weather. I've never managed to call in any bulls this late, but some guys seem to manage.

Walk like a moose, talk like a moose.
Better than sounding human.
