I am planning on going up to silver lake to do some blacktail hunting and i was wondering what the snow conditions are like and how are the roads.

Was up there on the 7th, unless it's rained and not snowed more, it may be hard to get too far off the main road. The rec site on the lake is gated and we could only get 2 or3 km past that point.

On the one road right before the park, we needed the winch to get unstuck, the snow was 15" or so deep.

didnt have any probl;ems whatsoever on saturday , some snow , but not a lot.

pouring with rain up here. It will be a messy if the freezing level has gone up and under a ton of snow if it hasn't

Rain is good, at least some of the higher spots will be accessible again? they sure weren't on that day.
