A good friend of mine had a coveted moose draw here in the Kootenays and needed a partner for his last chance to fill his tag last weekend. Didn't take me long to volunteer. :) Here are the results of our efforts on Saturday.... :D

The greatest outside spread is just a few eighths shy of 50". Very cool brow tines too.

You might want to lay off the booze for a bit. Your nose is looking a little worse for wear.

Thanks for the comments guys. It was nice to be part of...I have never been able to fill a Kootenay moose tag myself (one draw in '94, back when you could take an elk or moose, and I shot an elk instead! :( ).

As requested in a few PMs, here are a couple more pictures of the antlers. My friend is a private guy, so out of respect for that I won't share any details on a public intraweb forum and have cut the faces out of the photos.
