My oldest son Dan and his son Nehamiah and I left town at 5 am Saturday heading for our place on the halfway. Got to the cabin just as shooting light arrived and split up. Hunted for a couple of hours and saw several does and small bucks, but nothing exciting. Bridger that was lucky ,sometimes things go the way you would like them to go ,this WT is a very large animal as for the antlers ,congrats on shooting this WT ,he is a good one for a 5x4 http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif.

Nice whitetail Bridger. Looks like theres a drop tine on the right side?. I've been hearing the deer season has be slow for big deer. Is it true?..

it has been slow for big bucks up here although a few are showing up. I think one of the reasons is that we have had unseaonably warm temps for the last 10 days. snowing hard today and the bucks have just started moving the last three or four days. next two weeks will tell the story.
