Help with elk hunt

My son and I are planning an elk hunt next season for when he finishes his 4 in the military. Spend about a week in the wall tent and it dont matter if its a 3 point or 6. A couple antlerless would do if nothing else. Just some enjoyable time together like we used to do. Any suggestions on a good are would be greatly appreciated.

If it was me looking for a place to hunt elk I would get a back roads map book and start there ,hear are some regions I would be looking at ,regions 4 all of the EK ,Region 7b ,region 7a ,Region 8-15 and don't forget to fill out for elk LEH next May http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif.

I wouldn't bother applying for the x low elevations LEH draws near Cranbrook.
