Hi there been a viewer for awhile and love the site, lots of great info on here. Question, I did manage to shoot a nice 4x4 Black tail yesterday the deer is a nice mature buck. I have scored it myself and I think its up there for a region two blacktail but Im not shure, Im new to hunting and I dont know If I scored it correctly . Does anyone know where to find info on records for BC ive looked and havent come accross any relevant sites. I dont know If I did the scoring correctly but from the Boone and crocket site I came up with a score of . Greatest spread 19 3/8 deductions 6/38 and final score 141 7/8. The deers spread wasnt that big but the girth of the antlers were in my eyes impressive. Thank you I will post pics when I get them.

MINIMUM ENTRY SCORES FOR NORTH AMERICAN BIG GAME
Below is a chart that lists the minimum entry scores for all the North American big game animals recognized by the Boone and Crockett Club. Trophies that meet the Awards minimum but not the All-Time minimum will be listed in the Awards book. Trophies that meet the All-Time minimum will be listed in both the Awards book, as well as "Records of North American Big Game."

AWARDS ALL-TIME
125 135
Catagory:TYPICAL COLUMBIA BLACKTAIL

If your score is correct, you will very well meet the B&C requirements.
There is a mandatory drying period.
Get that photo posted, sounds like a great buck.
Where about's was it harvested?
Good on ya!
