How do you figure thator are you only guessing?

The way I read it is the buck has a 36 inch shoulder height by the top and bottom of the rub mark, and a fairly short body from neck to rump.
Whitetail hoof the ground like that also -- so bing bang bong does'nt take long.
Jel -- rub estimates free of charge -- while season lasts --

not a whitetail person so didnt know about the rubbing of the ground

We pulled into our yearly spot to setup camp. I found this rub about 30 feet away.
I know your guessing. But I did put get a little tightly racked 3x4 that year. (about 10 km from camp). I swear that rack gets smaller every time I look at it. We got about 50 or 60lbs back from the butcher (not including the tender loins which had part of that very night)

Big rubs/scrapes or little ones, i always get excited because there's a buck in the area.

I thought the live weight closer to 105lbs but looking closer you are right.
Three point is dead on.
Wish I had your knowledge & experience. Oh to dream.

weird... i've never seen a deer scrape under a tree that he rubs!!! good find
