Well here is my first mullie buck:-D and First time hunting with the brother inlaw. After puting some heafty miles on the boots in two days.

Day 1-after a 2 hour hike in we found a spot to sit and glass after 45 min the brother inlaw says BUCK, get ready, here use my gun (300 win short mag w/zies conquest scope nice set up) hes about 330 yrds hold between bars 3 & 4 hes big about 160. By this time im shaking like a dog shitting razor blades, barely conroling my self. Can you see him? no! can you see him now NOOO! after getting my self together oh there he is HOLY SHIT. Okay steady, breath, BOOM! you missed.WTF! i tried to get another shot off but i was breathing so hard i fogged up the scope and he was gone. We seen 4 other leagal bucks around 150 or so that day but couldn't get to them.
Day 2-another 2 hour hike to the top did some glassing but the fog was to thick and wasn't about to lift anytime soon, so we headed back down and thats when we came acrosss this guy. not as big as the others, but to me it doesnt matter, hes legall and thats all i care about. http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/thumbs/HPIM1652.JPG (http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/showphoto.php?photo=16222&limit=recent) hope the picture looks okay had a hard time posting it. fckn computers

Great story and photo's!!! Congrats on your first buck!!! We skin the head out, take off as much meat as possible then I have a small propane stove outside. I have a big old pot, the heads fit in just perfect, water covers the whole head, horns stick out, then let it boil for about a good day. In the water I add a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and a big splash of bleach. As it's boiling you lift it up and with a pair of pliers pull off the meat and stuff. I've done some this year and they turned out great!
