tunkwa lake area?

Heading up to the tunkwa lake area for whitetail and taking a new hunter with me hopefully he can bag a nice buck. Just wondering if any of you guys can give me some ideas on where to start around that area?

Hi

A guy I know in Kamloops successfully hunts the west side of Tunkwa lake at the edge of the thick trees by the huge grassy area. He's cut a few tags there over the years. Always seems to get something.

Keep an eye out for the wild Horses though. He was saying they can pop out of nowhere and startle you and the deer. There's been a wild herd up there for many years. They live all over the place between the west side of Tunkwa lake and the mine.

Are we allowed to hunt in the park boundaries or do we have to leave the park to hunt.

We were up there from the 3-7th for cow or calf but the natives have been nite hunting they have shot almost every thing. saw some does but no bucks it is very bad there this year. Hope you have better luck than us.

How is that crap allowed to happen? Since when did traditional food sources come about via a pickup truck and a spotlight, let alone a rifle. Seems to me that they traditionally didn't have these things.
