most of it is private - i was there exploring a few weeks ago, it will also lead you to a welness ranch or something on those lines.. its this huge 4 story building in the middle of nowhere..

You can access the Willis Cr. FSR and another FSR (Wolf-Belgie I think???) that goes in behind the mine off the Copper mountain road, so there is hunting opportunities up there!

Most of the visible black-tails along the Copper Mountain Road are just across the river from Princeton. After years of hunting, never seen or know of any buck killed there. Always lots of hunters there who get drawn in by the large numbers of black-tail doe's. I guess that the bucks adjust to the hunter pressure and therefore go exclusively nockturnal, or move to Princeton, across the river, who has lots of nice and tasty gardens, and no hunting allowed ?

On my last trip up ther we saw 15 does, 2 black bears and 11 cows. the only ones that were in an area legal to shoot was the cows.
