well i figured this was the last day in region 8 for me so i better get out, good thing.
i rolled out of bed at 9 and was walking bright and early at 11 and shot this nice little 4 point at 12. not much of a story found this spot on friday, was full of rubs and sign. came back on saturday saw a bunch of does and caught a glimse of a tall racked buck casing a doe but had no chance at it. hummed and hawwed weather to come today and thought i would be kicking myself for 9 months if i didnt go have another look.
im pretty sure the buck i saw yesterday had a much bigger rack but this one presented itself and down he went.

That buck has a very symmetrical, deep forked frame! Nice one!

Don't tell me this one was taken from the same area too???? I hunted hard around here this weekend and hardly saw any does even.

I spent all morning walking and sitting too...... you still have to drive a vehicle on a road to get to them..... some of you are just luckier and actually get them while driving. It's all good.
